The theme for December is "Stocking Stuffers." In this 4-week module, kids will explore the love of God through these Bible lessons: Light of the World (Matthew 5:13-16), Job's First Test (Job 1:6-22), Mary Praises God for Jesus (Luke 1:39-56), and John Tells About Love (1 John 4:7-16).
At 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 11, we will have our Creekside Kids For Christ Christmas party. The morning will include some fun games, a Christmas craft, and lunch. We will also practice the December songs which we will sing during the morning worship service on December 19.
Our church families will be buying Christmas gifts for 18 local foster children who we have been put in contact with. We are asking the children from KFC to choose one of these children to stuff a stocking for. Parents, our lessons last month focused on serving others. This month's lessons focus on God's love and how we are to share His love with others. This will be a wonderful opportunity for your child to put these lessons into action. Would you involve your child in this "stocking stuffer" by allowing them to choose a small toy of their own to include in their stocking or perhaps earn money by doing tasks around the house to buy the items that will go in their stocking? The children will have the opportunity to experience the blessing of giving by contributing to these children who have so little.
If you would be willing to help with the Christmas party, please contact Dianne White at the church (886-3699).
